Nice to Meet You!

About Lindsay

I have worked with different age groups, genders, and cultures in a variety of settings. These diverse experiences allow me to offer therapy in a way that respects and reflects your unique identity. I work from a person-centred approach, meaning that I draw from several theoretical orientations to develop a therapeutic style that is specific to each client. I also lead with an anti-oppressive foundation in all of my work. This means that I consider how all of your social identities interact, to explore how this intersectionality contributes to your lived experience.

Ultimately, my goal as your counsellor is to join you on your journey to wellness by facilitating a space of trust, safety, and empathic connection. I want to accompany you through hardships and help you turn inwards with curiosity rather than judgement, and compassion rather than criticism. Throughout therapy sessions, I use a trauma-informed framework to ensure a pace that feels comfortable for you and your nervous system. I truly believe that no one knows you better than you know yourself, and am here to collaborate with you as you make your way through our complex world. Let us learn from each other as we navigate life in ways that feel fulfilling and empowering to you.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors of (BCACC).

My Registration # is 18855
