Join us at our cozy Kitsilano studio and experience the benefits of in-person therapy in Vancouver, BC. Our space provides a safe, comfortable environment where you can focus fully on your mental health and personal healing journey.
At Sana we’ve been supporting Vancouverites with their mental health since 2016. For your in-person session, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you can find parking and get yourself settled in the space. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal to write down any learnings.
After your counselling session, we recommend taking some time to yourself to either go for a walk or grab a tea at one of the many cute cafes nearby. Giving yourself time to process after your session is as important as the session itself, so do your best to not schedule something right after you’re done.
It’s our job to support you in feeling your best. We provide in-person counselling sessions at our Vancouver studio to help you navigate life transitions, build self-esteem, and find relief from emotional stress, anxiety or depression.
Some common reasons people seek counselling include:
Whether you’re struggling with grief, self-harm thoughts, or simply feeling stuck, our registered clinical counsellors are trained to help you heal, regulate your nervous system, and strengthen your sense of well-being.
Our experienced therapists have over 30 years of combined clinical counselling experience. Each counsellor takes a compassionate, trauma-informed approach and works to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable expressing your feelings, emotions, and experiences openly.
We use evidence-based support and psychotherapy methods such as EMDR, Somatic Therapy, CBT, and Humanistic approaches to help clients explore their inner world, gain clarity, and move toward greater self-compassion.
Schedule a brief phone call with one of our counsellors to explore your goals, challenges, and what kind of support you’re seeking.
You’ll be matched with a counsellor who can best support you on your healing journey.
In your first session, we’ll create a non-judgmental space where you can safely express your feelings, explore your emotions, and begin developing tools for growth and resilience.
We understand how difficult this can be and want to make the process of working together as smooth as possible, so you can focus on what’s important, your mental health.
Fifteen minutes, no cost, no intake form. You say what has been going on. We say whether this is the kind of work that will help, and who here is the right person for it.
If it is not a fit, we will tell you that and point you somewhere better.
