Alexia Spencer

Nice to meet you!

About Alexia

As an experienced therapist, I offer individual therapy to provide you with personalized support in a collaborative fashion. I create a safe and confidential space to allow for an exploration of your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, and work towards meaningful movement.

Through my therapeutic work, I observed the consequences of society placing such a strong emphasis on perfectionism, a hyper-vigilance on “fixing” oneself, and external merit. Seeing people struggling to understand their identity, self-worth, and values motivated me to gain expertise in various therapeutic modalities and bring them to you to help you heal and thrive while also being present to the process.

As a mother of two young children, I wish to continue sharing my support in encouraging you to reconnect with your values, personal knowledge, unique narratives, and own definition of personhood, while fostering an empowering relationship with yourself and those in your life.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

My Registration number is  #4176
