About Kristine
I always had a passion for supporting and helping others which led to my remarkable path as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I am a firm believer in developing strong rapport with clients and engaging in a collaborative process when trying to create and accomplish goals. In sessions, we will discover some new ways of being in the world and expand your capacity for making changes.
In terms of experience, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals and provided therapeutic services in a variety of settings. I work from a person-centred approach which is rooted in building a strong, trusting, and client-directed therapeutic relationship for growth to occur. I am here to actively listen and offer compassion and empathy throughout your therapeutic process and journey. Additionally, my therapeutic style allows me to adjust and pull techniques from various modalities to meet your needs and goals. I always incorporate trauma-informed care and approaches, as it is important for me to meet you where you’re at and work at your pace so that you feel empowered, motivated, and most importantly, safe.
I believe that every human being is an expert in their own life and has the innate capacity and wisdom for healing! More importantly, you have strengths that have helped you get through life. Together we can explore and identify those strengths and figure out the best ways to put those into action. I will also gently challenge what isn’t working to allow for more awareness. As a counsellor, I will provide you with additional support and tools to face challenges and work towards your goals.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
My Registration is #20260.
